SHARE MY DREAM KARAOKE CONTEST

"Come and Sing a Song!"

Students of Marmara Private Anatolian Vocational High School organized a “Karaoke Contest” on Friday, December 28, 2018, in order to make one more child’s dreams come true within the scope of “Share My Dream” project, which they’ve been carrying out for years with great success. The motto of the contest was “Come and Sing a Song!” and not only the students, but also the teachers were contestants.

Berfin Aladağ from Vocational High School class 11 A was the host of the contest. Teachers of Marmara Education Institutions competed in the contest, themed “Come and Sing a Song!”, as well as the students. The jury consisted of music teacher Nursel Valandova, geography teacher Derya Keçeci and Marmara Private Vocational High School 2010 graduate Doruk Sayar, who received his training from world renowned illusionists, transformed his greatest passion into his profession at an early age, made his mark with his last project “Sleight of Mind” in the illusion world of Turkey and works with great dedication.

Students of Marmara Private Anatolian Vocational High School carry out the “Share My Dream” project under the guidance of their teacher, Zerrin Dinga. Marmara Private Anatolian Vocational High School is the only high school in Turkey which carries out this project. While making children’s dreams come true, the students have also had the chance to see the children’s eyes shine with happiness. “Share My Dream” Project is a social responsibility project which aims to make the greatest dreams of children, who have life-threatening illnesses and who are between the ages 3-18, come true in one day to make them hold on to life, with the motto “You can’t add days to a lifetime but you can add life to the days”. The project is conducted in high schools and universities to raise awareness for volunteering by Make A Wish Foundation Turkey, which has its headquarters in the USA.
