United Nations Day is a day of commemoration and celebration, which the United Nations accepts as the official starting date of October 24, 1945.
Private Marmara College students celebrated the 24 October United Nations Day with various activities. A poster competition was held with the participation of the Prep-Classes, 9th and 10th Grades within the framework of the themes of freedom, peace, justice and gender equality.  In the competition, Science High School 10 B class Elif Su Köse came 1st, Prep B class Yusuf Özat and Çağan Deniz Er came 2nd, College 9 A class İrem Baştur, Sezin Güngör and Duru Şahingöz came 3rd. All posters that made it to the final were found worthy of being exhibited in the foyer area. The activities ended with the watching of a video prepared within the scope of United Day in the classrooms.
