9th GRADES’ DEBATE

The first phase of the 9th Grades’ Debate between Marmara Private College and Science High School was held on Monday, February 27; and the second phase was held on Wednesday, March 15 at Hasan Ali Yücel Hall.

In the first phase, Marmara College 9A - 9C and 9B - Science 9A competed. College 9A was represented by Şevval Arslan, Pınar Erdem, Eylül Saray and College 9C was represented by Elif Erdoğan, Tuna Özsoy, Jeremy Zalma, College 9B was represented by Azra Deniz Kasırga, Onur Kesepara, Ekin Özsoy and Science High School 9th grades were represented by Efe Şencan, Efe Tan Çıbıkçı and Emir Mehmet Yılmaz. The discussion topics were   “Is technology good or harmful for students?”  and “Should the books be replaced by tablet?” The students from College 9A and Science High School 9A came in first in that phase.

In the final phase of the Debate, Marmara College 9A was represented by Melis Duru Dönmez, Begüm Karahasanoğlu, Sude Nazlı Durmuş and Science High School 9A was represented by Efe Şencan, Emir Mehmet Eryılmaz and Efe Tan Çıbıkçı. College 9A was the winner of the debate.
