On Monday, October, 23, 2017 “Mole Day” was celebrated with an organization organized by Marmara Educational Institutions, Department of Science-Mathematics.

There were activities including the enjoyable lecturing “What is Mole?” and experiments conducted by the 11 IB students within the scope of the Mole Day activity organized by the chemistry teachers Fulya Dinçtürk Gücük and Elif Çınar. The Mole-themed songs were played during the breaks daylong.  The Mole Day activities started with the interview named “What is Mole?” by the students at MEK Dr. Avni Akyol Conference Hall at 8^th period. Following that Göksu Sönmez and Zeynep Tezer, the students at 11 IB class gave lecture on “Mole and How should we understand Mole?” and informed their friends on the subject. Then, Nadide Tumper and Zeynep Tezer, the students at 11 IB class performed experiments on the stage to visualize the information given. Finally, the mole-themed video clip made by the Science High School students was on screen. The event ended with the dances accompanied by the Mole-themed songs by the students who had enjoyable time.
