THE MARMARIANS AT MUNICH WITHIN THE SCOPE OF ERASMUS

İstanbul Marmara College students meet with their peers from six schools in Germany, Holland, Hungary and Poland in Munich, Germany to carry out the studies within the scope of “Made in Europe”, the European Union Erasmus Plus School Partnership.

İstanbul Marmara College Academic Coordinator Nur Şahin and the English Teacher Zehra Hasır guided the eight students during the project hosted by München Moosach Gymnasium, Germany between 10-16 October 2016. The main theme of “Made in Europe” which includes sports, arts, and music, science and history subjects was “Painting”; various universal issues were reflected via Graffiti. The students Melisa Tazegül, Zeynep Akın, Dilara Alan, Emir Demirhan, Serkan Onar, Alkış Tekin, Arif Koca and Ülkem Hancar who stayed with the hosting families had chance to take part in various projects and trips within and out of the school with their peers from different countries and to know about the cultural heritage and to communicate and have cultural and social interactions by means of foreign language. Following the Munich visit, in which İstanbul and our school were also promoted, İstanbul Marmara College has started the preparations for hosting “Erasmus Plus Project” in March 2017.
