2015-2016 Academic year Debate Contest in English among the 9thGraders was held in three sessions. In the contest in which Science High School 9-A class was represented by Azer Sadıkoğlu, Çiğdem Çıtak and Tuna Aydın and College 9-B class was represented by Onat Ribar, Ege Tütüncü and Pelin Gökkuş, the classes getting to the final were College 9-A and 9-C. In the final of the debate in which College 9-A class was represented by Emre İbrahimiye, Güneş Sağnak and Nadide Tumpee, the speakers of 9-C consisted of the students named Göksu Sönmez, Serkan Onar and Alkış Tekin. The sessions were carried out vehemently in which the students discussed in English on “Whether the celebrities are bad role models for the youth, whether the advertisements are beneficial and whether the genetic or the environmental factors are more effective”. The champion of the competition the jury of which consisted of the students at 11 Foreign Language Class was College 9-A.
