LITTLE HEARTS BEAT FOR ATATÜRK, THE GREAT

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey was commemorated longingly on 79th anniversary of his demise at Marmara Educational Institutions.

The ceremony organized at Hasan Ali Yücel Conference Hall started with two minutes of silence primarily for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey and his fellow fighters and all martyrs and with the National Anthem. Following that Marmara Primary and Middle School orchestra, conducted by Marmara Educational Institutions Music Teachers was Levent Tanman and Selin Ayşin Batmankaya, on the stage. In the event where the students at Marmara Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School were in charge, the life of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his struggle in founding a new state, his personality and his ideas were explained with videos or poems. Besides, Berk Uçku, the student at Vocational School 10 A Class performed the Zeibek like the Zeibek performance of Atatürk at the ball at the Bursa Municipality Hall on 2 February 1938. The ceremony ended with İzmir Anthem and all the audience sang the anthem.
