Marmara College EYP Club students attended the “2nd School Session of European Youth Parliament (EYP) Turkey” organized by EYP Turkey team and hosted by Eyüboğlu Schools on December 14-17, 2018. The official language of the conference was English.

Economic, educational, political, industrial, social, technological, environmental and law issues of European Union countries were discussed in the forum led by Alinda Ohotski (TR), Matthias Schwertner (AT),  Hannes Ahlvin (SE) and Nikos Pavlos Kotzias (EE) within the framework of the theme  “Balancing the Ties” .

Head of the European Union delegation of Turkey and European Union Ambassador of Turkey Christian Berger attended the opening ceremony of the conference as the guest of honor and evaluated the relationship of Turkey and the European Union.

During the four-day conference, students participated in various seminars and training activities on the EU and EYP, and attracted the participants’ attention with the speeches they made to represent their committees. Efe Tan Çıbıkçı, who successfully represented Turkey in Lithuania as a result of the National Elections and became the “Media Manager” of the conference.

We’d like to congratulate our students, Candan Oran, Elif Buse Erdoğan, Deniz Şahinoğlu, Zeynep Erzincan, Efe Deniz Şencan, Doğa Şevval Turan and Begüm Karahasanoğlu, who attended the conference and earned their certificates under the guidance of EYP Club advisors Zülal Eroğlu and Sitem Sipahi, and wish them a continued success.
