Marmara Private High School Students At The 3rd National Forum Of Eyp Turkey

This year, the 3rd National Forum of EYP Turkey, which took place between 26-29 October 2019, in cooperation with the European Youth Parliament Association, was hosted by Robert College. Zeynep Erzincan, Azra Deniz Kasırga, Zelal İlbak, Ceylin Erdal and Emre Dinçer represented their schools successfully as delegates, under the guidance of İstanbul Private Marmara College, History Teacher Zülal Eroğlu, and English Teacher Sitem Sipahi.

The main theme of the conference was "Transforming Wounds Into Wisdom"

A total of 200 participants, ranging in age from 16 to 22, including committee leaders and delegates from different countries of Europe, discussed the issues on Europe's agenda. This year's theme of the conference was “Transforming Wounds Into Wisdom", which was given by Dr. Meltem Muftiler Baç, a professor at Sabancı University. On the first day, the students engaged in team-building activities, for four days, they discussed the issues on the agenda of the European Union in the fields of political, social economy, Law, Human Rights, and produced solutions and submitted their solution proposals to the general assembly for a vote.
