THE FRIENDSHIP OF ASTRAKHAN AND ISTANBUL

Marmara Education Institutions bring students beyond borders together through international projects.

Marmara College will host Russian “Astrakhan Linguistic Gymnasium” school between December 10-18, as a part of “WATER” themed “Linguistic and Cultural AFS Exchange Program”.

The project, which aims to allow the students to recognize the different cultures and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries, will be conducted in English. Students will have the opportunity to develop their English and problem solving skills.

Our school welcomed the guest teachers and students in Hasan Ali Yücel Hall on Tuesday, December 11, with a magnificent ceremony. Russian and Turkish students, who introduced their cultures to each other with folkloric dances, songs and presentations, were excited and proud. Russian students, who learned Turkish as a second foreign language, received sympathy and applause for their Turkish presentations, in addition to their English presentations.
