United Nations Day at Marmara College

On October 24, 1945, the United Nations Organization was established to prevent the wars especially after the Second World War and to live in peace and to solve international problems peacefully. The day is celebrated as United Nations Day all over the world.

The day was celebrated at our school in festive air with the participation of high school students, 8th graders and Rwandan, Russian, Egyptian, Malaysian, Afghan and Iraqi students from Gökkuşağı International School. The students, who achieved getting a visa from the tables at the event where the country introductions and competitions about countries were held, were entitled to participate in the cocktail that would be arranged at lunch break.
