Students’ Rights, Responsibilities and Their Limits

Bodrum Marmara College students deserve to continue their education in the best environment we can provide for them and therefore they are responsible for acting in a way to support such an education environment:

• Every student has the right to be safe and secure, and the responsibility to obey the school rules.
• Every student has the right to listen and be listened by the person opposite her/him and the responsibility to await her/his turn to listen others and to be listened by them.
• Every student has the right to have a silent environment for studying and learning, and the responsibility to be silent in order not to disturb others.
• Every student has the right to be respected, and the responsibility to respects her/his friends, elders and collective goods (e.g. buildings, etc.)
• Every student has the right to express her/his emotions, opinions and thoughts, and the responsibility to make an effort for learning, to be self-controlled and respectful towards others.
• Every student has the right to know what is expected from them in every fiedls of the school and the responsibility to obey the school rules.
