We Longingly And Gratefully Commemorated Atatürk

On Tuesday, 10th November 2015 the Great Leader Atatürk was longingly and gratefully commemorated at the 77th anniversary of his decease with the participation of Marmara Private College High School and Primary School students, teachers and the parents in Hasan Ali Yücel Conference Hall.

In the commemoration ceremony, starting with stand in silence and our National Anthem at 09.05 which was followed by the choir of Primary school students, the speech emphasizing the meaning and importance of the day was made by Selcan Çelik, Turkish Language and Literature teacher. After a presentation consisting of the virtual visit in Anıtkabir, the presentations marking the history of Çankaya Palace were presented. The programme continued with the anecdote cited by about the happiest moment of Atatürk when he granted Turkish nation his whole estate. Finally a short ballet show was performed by the 12th graders in order to emphasize the interest of Atatürk in art. Moreover the members of Tomurcuk Foundation Private Education and Rehabilitation Center were hosted in our school in order to support the 10th November Commemoration Ceremony for Atatürk. We thank them for their participation and performance and we, as Marmara Education Institutions longingly and respectfully commemorate Atatürk once more.
