On Monday February 26, 2018 the play named “Cleopatra” was staged by “Artspot”, a global, professional touring theatre company at Marmara Educational Institutions, Hasan Ali Yücel Hall.
The play was appreciated in terms of the plot, the quality of acting, the scenery, and the effects. The students, who had listened to the songs in advance in the English lesson, sang along with the actors. Hosting the guests across the world (actors and actresses) during the lunch break, Marmara College 11th and 12th grade Foreign Class students had the opportunity to chat with the guests. Before the play, students asked their questions about art, acting, touring, traveling around the world and theatre; and they took photos together. The activity, which greatly contributed to the interactive English language learning, has the ear of everyone seeing the play.
