The Awareness Raising Seminar about Disaster was organized in Marmara Private Elementary and Secondary Schools, which adopt raising conscious and wise individuals as a principle, in cooperation with AKUT (Search & Rescue Association) within the scope of ‘safe life culture’ studies on Thursday, 05.03.2015.

In the seminar which was organized in order to constitute the grounds of prepared society for earthquake and other disasters the general information was provided in relation to the disasters (earthquake-fire-flood) we encounter in the land we live in.  By means of handling the requirements before any probable disaster, during the disaster and after the disaster with an integrative approach, the correct attitudes required to be presented in order to eliminate the risks and decrease the probable loss to minimum were explained. In the seminar the awareness of our students was raised by determining ‘fixing’, ‘meeting point’, ‘safe point’, ‘protection in a safe point during earthquake’, ‘actions to be taken indoor and outdoor during earthquake’, ‘precautions to be taken after earthquake’ and ‘actions to be taken before, during and after fire and flood’.

The seminar ended after Ahmet Bölük, the school principal expressed his sincere thanks and gave flowers to Cevdet Canbaz, Akut Member.
