On Friday, November 13, 2015, Marmara Private Vocational High School 11-A students organized a tour to Galata and Beyoğlu to the accompaniment of Suzan Balkanlı, Turkish Language and Literature Teacher. The students visited the exhibition in SALT GALATA and named “How did we get here?” which aims tracing the origins of the current context of Turkey at this turning point, in relation to the recent past and via elements of popular culture and social movements that took hold after 12^th September 1980 the coup d'état and evaluate the political and cultural climate of the 1980s with the achieve materials including the commercials, journals, photographs, video and samples of the cinema. Taking the photos in the exhibition, the students visited "80 lyrics, 80 eyes of art-Barış Manço” Illustration Exhibition At Galatasaray University Culture and Art Center and they gained different perspectives in relation to their professions.
