It is the way that Sadullah Gazi Evranos called out to the audience in one of the rooms of the Grand Post Office in Sirkeci in 6 May 1927, 85 years ago. In the beginning the people listened the radio broadcast via the speakers in front of the post office as the no one had radio receiver in those days. You who were around Beşiktaş or Kadıköy İskelesi between 2 and 6 May might encounter that TRT radios called out to the audience from the open air studios again. Marmara Private Anatolian Vocational High School (Radio-TV Branch) 11th grade students visited the studios at Beşiktaş İskelesi by attending the activity of TRY named “Önce Radyo Vardı” on Wednesday, May 6 with their Vocational Lesson teacher Şadan Alptekin. Taking part in the vocational trip, the students had chance to watch the broadcast there and prepare their own radio programme as well.
