The member of Tomurcuk Foundation Private Education and Rehabilitation Center, established with the purpose of showing that the individuals with mental disabilities can maintain their lives like the other members of the society in case that they are evaluated not with what they cannot but what they can and they are given opportunities without being isolated and they can be employed in appropriate jobs and of drawing the attention of the society, were hosted in our school in order to support the 10th November Commemoration of Atatürk.
The students mainly consisting of the children and youngsters with Down syndrome continue their education in Tomurcuk Foundation Private Education and Rehabilitation Center opened in July 2013 under the roof of the foundation located in Ataşehir. The individuals having supportive education in the Rehabilitation Center benefit from the social life, sports and art activities of the foundation for two days.
The students at Marmara Private College initiated a campaign under the guidance of their teacher Necef Zaloğlu to build a library in Tomurcuk Foundation Private Education and Rehabilitation Center in order to support education.
