Our student Bahadır Özen, from class 12-C, was in Macedonia to attend the “European Individual Rapid, Blitz and 960 Chess Championships” on December 6-9, 2018.      

 Bahadır beat the Czech master David Navara, who is the 18^th in the world chess ranking, to go over 2500 points in the European Individual Blitz Chess Championship.

He shared 16^th place in the “European Individual Rapid Championship” by earning 7 points in 9 matches. At the same time, he won 2^nd place in the “European Individual 960 (Fischer Random) Tournament” by earning 7 points in 9 matches.
