Marmara Educational Institutions High School students visited to Çanakkale between March 31 and April 2 2017 under the guidance of the History teacher Melek Ekşi. The purpose of the visit was to develop historical and cultural awareness of the city.

On the first day of the school trip students visited Hamidiye Bastions, Seddülbahir, Kilitbahir, Alçıtepe, Conk Bayırı, Morto Koyu, Seyit Onbaşı, 53rd Infantry Regiment and Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial where the most severe battles were experienced in Çanakkale Front. The students having a journey among the pages of history visited 57th Infantry Regiment and commemorated the sacred martyrs with gratitude and respect.
